Timeshare - The 2nd Best Investment We Ever Made!

We have been timeshare owners since our children were 2 and 6.  They recently graduated from high school and college.  It was also my husband’s 50th birthday. So for a treat, we used our timeshare points (Vacation International) and rented a four bedroom ocean front penthouse suite in Mexico at the Torres Mazatlan and each child bought a friend.  Our children’s reactions when we pushed the elevator for the penthouse were “ha, ha, you guys are really funny”.  They thought it was a joke.  We will never forget their screams of excitement when they turned the key and the door to the penthouse opened.

We could have never done this without our timeshare. We have always said after our home it was our best investment.  This confirmed it and inspired us to purchase additional timeshare points, which we recently did through the Holiday Group after research.  The savings were incredible!  We paid a fraction of what we paid for a similar purchase directly from our timeshare.  We are now looking forward to annual childless trips, then maybe a family reunion in a penthouse.

Reflection:  I am sure our savings from having a kitchen and not buying p& j or grilled cheese sandwiches, cereal, oatmeal, toast, or a glass of milk or juice at restaurants have already paid a large percentage of our timeshare.
