We Love Timesharing!

We own nine timeshares...yes, we obviously love timesharing. We generally book within the 45-day window so that we get maximum advantage out of our timeshares. Since we are retired, and travel nearly half of the year, we want to get maximum use out of our points/weeks and we get to go to some terrific places. We love our beautiful USA, and have not yet been to all of the states - we do not care whether we go east, west, north or south. We just look at what is available and make a selection.

For example, in 2006 we went snowmobiling along the Continental Divide in Pagosa Springs, Colorado; were stunned by the beauty of the red rocks in Sedona, Arizona; had a religious experience watching the sun rise over Bryce Canyon, Utah; stayed at a ski lodge in Smuggler's Notch Vermont and found Vermont to be as beautiful as a Grandma Moses painting, toured Ben& Jerry's ice cream factory and dined at the Von Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe; enjoyed the quaintness of Williamsburg, Virginia; stayed a block off of the strip in Las Vegas; gathered shells along the Texas Gulf Coast outside our front door 25 miles from Galveston...on each of these trips, we stayed a week in timeshares.

The things important to us are ample space to relax, a kitchen to cook if we should so desire, on-site fun and games if we are in the mood to be entertained and a variety of places to go and stay for a week. We could never afford the type of accommodations we stay in if we had to pay by the night...timesharing has allowed us to travel in style and enjoy the early years of retirement while we have the health to do it. After that, we will look at the photos!
