Alternatives to selling

Rental prices depend on a variety of factors, such as the location, the amenities at the timeshare resort, size of the unit and the season so you'll need to do some research to determine the going rates for renting timeshares.

You might even be able to donate your timeshare to a charity and get a tax write-off. The charity will have to be able to sell the timeshare though, so it does need to have some market value.
