Fairway Forest at Sapphire Valley is in the southernmost part of the Blue Ridge Mountains and offers 5,700 acres of beauty at an elevation of 3,100 feet. Amenities include two outdoor pools, a park with picnic area, an 18-hole PGA golf course, eight clay and two hard-surfaced tennis courts, and a health club with an indoor pool, whirlpool, and exercise equipment. Hiking, fishing, mininature golf, and canoeing are offered. Amenities are seasonal; contact the resort for dates. You can enjoy skiing or snow tubing from mid December-February.
