Why transfer your timeshare to Holiday?

Is there a cost to transfer your timeshare to us?

Yes. While Holiday does not charge a service fee to handle the transfer of your timeshare, resort transfer fees, recording fees and recording taxes will be your responsibility. These costs will vary dependent upon your timeshare resort, as well as by the state or location of your resort. Should we decide to undertake your transfer, these fees will be discussed with you prior to the actual transfer of your timeshare.

What are the requirements for my timeshare to qualify for transfer? 

There are four main requirements that will qualify your timeshare for our transfer service.

1. The timeshare must be paid in full and free of any mortgage or liens.
2. All fees (maintenance fees, taxes, special assessments) must be current and up to date.
3. Your timeshare resort and season is acceptable to our program.
4. If you have an RCI Points membership, that you will transfer this membership.

Can I expect to no longer have a financial obligation to my timeshare?

If we transfer your timeshare, and you have met all requirements associated with your resort’s transfer fees, recording fees and recording taxes, and there are no other unforeseen or pending obligations, you will no longer be held to any financial obligations to your timeshare. You will not have to wait for title or closing work to be finalized to enjoy the financial freedom from your timeshare. Holiday Transfer will pay any future fees that you have.

Will my timeshare be legally transferred out of my name if I use your service?

Absolutely. Each timeshare works differently, however Holiday Transfer knows exactly what your resort/county/state requires in order to legally transfer ownership. Title will be transferred via Membership, Deed, Lease, or Assignment along with all of the resorts legal documentation. Regardless of the process, each transfer is handled with great care and attention to detail.
