People are endlessly fascinating to me. I enjoy discovering the talents, interests and abilities that everyone reveals as you get to know them. I particularly enjoy meeting people from other cultures because I learn so much from them.

I've been a professional artist for years, painting the people I meet on my travels. These paintings are my favorite souvenirs and the source of my best memories. Whether I'm sketching an old Italian grandmother in the streets of Rome, with her shopping basket on her arm, Mexican children building sandcastles on the beach, or a Navajo artisan outside of Sant Fe, painting intricate designs on his pots, I feel an incredible connection to each, as if my hand is being guided to capture the essence of the person.

Born and raised in Southern California, I spent many happy summer days at the beach. When I wasn't at the beach, I studied dance and piano. I really loved to dance! I've been a teacher and a real estate broker.

I have also raised four wonderful, tall sons and a daughter. It's been a great pleasure to watch them grow through the years. They're my dearest friends.

Currently, I'm finishing a novel, whose theme is, of course, on different types of people and how they are all connected to each other.
